Yes, Linus is still the CEO of Linus Media Group. If you watch the video announcement Linus made in the video he states that the change goes in to effect on July 1st.

One, this isn't reddit so, upvotes do not exist.

Two, he is still the CEO, he'll step down as CEO from the 1st of July
