iPhone 11 pro screen issue

Hi 

I don't know if this is the correct place to make this topic but its the only one that has anything to do with phones. anyway I woke up this morning to find my iPhone 11 pro rather hot when I picked it up but I thought nothing of it until green lines started appearing along the screen and then the screen turned off altogether and would no longer turn on. it clearly is still working as if I ping it thru my watch it makes a noise and it is even still receiving notifications. the best bit is if I hook it up to a tv with the HDMI dongle it works on the tv but still nothing on the phone itself. I presume that this is a dead screen and that apple would charge an extortionate amount of money to fix it but would like to check before I blow a couple of hundred quid on a new phone.

also yes i have tried rebooting it and it didn't help
