Is this normal?

if not, is there anything immediately concerning about anything here?

Doesn't look like there would be anything there generating a hot spot. Does the FLIR show anything abnormal with the panel off?

My only thought would be that your GPU is throwing out some heat that is coming through the cut out there for cable management. Either that or one of the power cables there is shorted and overheating, but if the cables themselves don't show a hot temp on the camera that is unlikely.

That's barely warm. Don't worry about it.

36C isn't bad, but if there's a hot spot that's 10°C above the surrounding areas on the outside of the panel then it's possible that there's something overheating on the inside that is much hotter that is causing the hot spot.

Though, looking again it looks like the 25°C reading is coming from the case feet that appear much colder than the rest of the side panel. There might be a much smaller variance in temperature across the side panel.

Interesting. I'm not sure what would be that would be generating a lot of heat. Remove the side panel and see what is located in that spot. Try pointing the thermal imaging camera at it with the panel off to see what's getting hot.

Also pretty cool having the FLIR to see that. Were you just playing around with it and noticed it or were you having issues with heat that you were trying to diagnose?

Yes, it's normal for GPU as the hotspot in PC case

Just make sure your PC has adequate cooling fan in the front to feed cool air to cool down you GPU

Or you may dial back gaming settings to ease up your GPU if you're really concern about it

My System: Ryzen 7800X3D // Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX // 32GB 6000MHz DDR5 Silicon Power Zenith CL30 // Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT OC with mod heatsink on the metal plate  // Phanteks P300A  // Gigabyte Aorus GEN4 7300 PCIE 4.0 NVME // Kingston NV2 Gen4 PCIE 4.0 NVME //

Seasonic Focus GX-850 Fully Modular // Thermalright Frost Spirit 140 Black V3 // Phanteks M25 140mm // Display: Bezel 32MD845 V2 QHD // Keychron K8 Pro (Mod: Gateron black box ink; Tape mode on PCB and Keycaps) // Razer Cobra Wired Mouse // Audio Technica M50X Headphone // Sennheiser HD 650 // Genius SP-HF180 USB Speaker //

And Laptop Acer Nitro 5 AN515-45 for mobility

Phone:

iPhone 11 (with battery replaced instead of buying new phone for long term and not submitting (fully) to Apple Lord

it looks like an abnormal hotspot because the difference between the hottest white, and the coldest black on the flir is only 10°c, the difference you're seeing could just be a difference in reflectivity if anything...

Im running 2 140s in the front, 2 120s on the top, and one 120 as an exhaust. That good enough for a ryzen5600/radeon6800xt combo?

Nice cooling, bro! especially 2 fan with 140 mm on the front

Yes that is definitely enough, I use 7800X3D and 7900XT with similar fan configuration as yours, but I only have one 120mm on top because my case only support one slot

By the way just wanna make sure, the front fan is intake configuration right?

Yep, they're all intakes aside from the rear. Positive case pressure gang. This $72 fractal case came with 2 140s preinstalled too lol. Fuckin deal of the century imo. The only thing it was lacking is a psu shroud
