Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: gaming from hollowknight to warzone

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 

 

Would like it to function decently at 1440p 144hz. Does not have to be ultra settings or RGB.

 

I currently play on a Laptop that isnt really designed to play games well.

these are pretty good picks but would change one or two things 

this one has a better am4 cpu but 16 gigs of ram (you don't need 32 imo)

i 1+ this. personally i would go intel and im pretty sure the stock cooler should be fine for the cpu so you coud save a buck with that

I would get a MSI B550-A Pro instead on the AMD build, because it got USB bios flashback, but apart from that it's a great choice of components!
