wired Internet connection questions

You could always just route a really long Ethernet cable. Depending on if you rent or own, I have actually ran cables through walls, ceilings, and floors.

Monitor Main: MSI G274QPF-QD 27.0" 2560 x 1440 170 Hz

I can't move the router and modem upstairs

the reason I want a wired connection is because I stream from my xbox.  

As @TylerD321 said, you do just need a ethernet cable if you want ethernet or your Xbox doesn't have wifi.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

get a cat5e cable from infinite cable

you can choose the length and their quality is excellent

or pretty much anywhere you can find one

yes, Ethernet cables are way more reliable than wifi alone.

318 feet (100m) is the limit without a repeater of some sort (switch, etc) in between.
