The cables that plug into the connectors on the psu often have multiple connectors on the other end. Like the sata cables often have 4 sata plugs.

 

Check the specs of the psu and it will tell you the details.

so the psu im planning on getting for my setup is th 850 w SUPERnova GT from evga becasue of how good their support is and because it has a solid rating on psu tier list. the thing is when I look at images of the back of the unit, there are way fewer connectors than are showing up on pcpartpicker. am i missing something? Product Image 2 / 6image.thumb.png.0d46e9bd5b9db2de0d887fc6e22a7fd9.png

you dont need an aio for anything but i9 cpus or heavy oc jobs just get an nh-d15 or peerless assassin
