85C or lower

 

below 80C is prefered

I wouldn't want it go higher than 80C.

it can take 110 or something by intels stuff, but like people here, i dont want mine much higher than 80 :P but thats just us being stupid im sure

 

has nothing to do with stupidity :) its all about stability and assured peak performance.

 

at 93C or higher the cpu can throttle

 

no one wants to throttle because its the equivalent to an underclock

 

80-85C gives you a little thermal headroom to account for increases in ambient temps

 

thats why its good to suggest 80-85C as a max for 24\7 usage
