My earphones have 3 rings on it. Should I get an adapter that splits my earphones into both the mic and earphone port?

if you're earphones only have 3 contact points then there is no mic.  IE: if it looks like this then there is no mic

But if it looks like this then you need a splitter

which would look like this

Not sure where you are but here is one for the states

My microphone that is with my earphones don't pick up. I have made sure that my audio has been allowed, I have plugged it into all 3 jacks to test, and I have also used other mics to plug into it and a headset with a mic. My PC just simply won't pickup any microphone. Is there a fix? Thanks

What earphones? How many rings on the plug? Most desktop PCs need separate plugs for mic and earphones, they don't support the combined 4-contact plug used on phones and some laptops. There are adapters around.

If that's what the PC has, yes.

My pc has a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and then the blue (?) one which I'm not 100% sure is. Will my mic work if I use an adapter that plugs into both Mic and Headphone jack at the same time right?

Thanks, I found a splitter like that and ordered it last night. Mine has the rings like your image showed so thanks for confirming!
