new computer freezes

As title says I have problem with my new computer freezing. It happens around twice per day. And it doesn't matter if I play games or watch movie or I am just on the internet.

When it happens I can still move my cursor around, but nothing else. If I try ctrl+alt+del, after a while window will open and it will practically say that operating system knows that ctrl+alt+del was pressed but nothing is happening and I should restart computer manually. But when I restart it, nothing happens, monitor screen is black. I have to cut the power completely and then computer works fine. Until it freezs again.

    ASUS M5A97 R2.0
    ASUS R9280X
    8GB DDR3 RAM
    AMD Vishera FX-6300
    Seasonic X-650
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I had the same problem. I had to change the hard drive settings to use the amd sata controller.
