Hi,

My wife is a preschool teacher so every year at graduation time, I get to burn about 50 DVDs of a graduation PowerPoint presentation that she creates from pictures of her students through the year. I had a great program that was free and did the job well of simply converting the presentation to a DVD format that the parents can just pop into the DVD player and watch it if they wanted to. I redid my computer several months ago and I did not think to back up this program so now it is lost and I can not find anything free and good to do it. (I don't want to pay for something that most parents will never watch again.)

If anyone has any suggestions of a program that will simply burn a PowerPoint presentation to a DVD, that would be most appreciated!

Thank You

Powerpoint has the option to create an video file of an presentation. Then you can use that for the build-in Windows DVD burner.

This will burn the files as a USB drive but not in a compatible DVD format. PowerPoint can export in .WMV and MPEG-4 but DVD players read MPEG-2. I I will have to see if I can find a .WMV or MPEG-4 to DVD converter.
