you guys think it s worth paying 100 bucks for the contact frame on the 13th gen?

is there a legitimate problem that would make the cpu not last as long (in terms of it s life i mean).

Sadly thermalright's contact frame it s not available for when i live so only thermal grizzly one is which is 100 bucks

Itll matter in terms of temperature floor, but honestly i wouldnt if you know you can use that 100 bucks elsewhere. And if you wanna put it another way: that $100 can be used to buy a beefier cooler to counteract said mounting pressure issue with well... more cooling.

yeah i was thinking to put that 100 bucks towards the gpu but i m kinda overthinking it, idk if the bending is an actual problem that would make the cpu die prematurelly

You can get the Thermalright one from Aliexpress for $10. You probably don't need neither though.

only reason i even consider it is that i m afraid of the bending issue tbh, but yeah sadly i cannot import things here, they are way too expensive

I don't know where you're, but I don't know of any country where importing that from Aliexpress would cost more than $20 for everything. The customs on most countries don't even bother taxing small cheap items like that.

The bending issue doesn't seem to have any significant effect on most users, I would only consider it if I had issues after testing the CPU. I personally don't have issues with mine, and I don't care for the slightly improvement that I could maybe get with one. But at the same time I power limit all my CPUs to make them more efficient, so I'm not really affected by temperature issues in the first place.
