LMG Asset Tags

Hey! I know LMG uses inventory management software as well as those small QR codes for tracking all of their electronics (and probably other things). I am a software engineering who works directly in Label & Asset tagging, and I was wondering what kind of scanners they use/the specific type of 2D barcode it is. A lot of scanners I know have issues with tags that small but they use them for everything so I was wondering if someone could shed some light.

Wasn't sure if this should be posted here, in Non tech (barcodes are tech too!) or software development.

I cannot answer your question but I am interested. I am a freelance video engineer and have some personal gear and would love a good way to keep track of it. 

 

I would even been interested in how I could print tiny labels with my company name. Like tiny so they can fit on a cable
