Ebay buying?

So i really wanna buy a Hd 7950 its on sale adn $40 cheaper than a 760 with little to no difference in performance,it also has better 2 card capabilites and i do plan to crossfire in the future.But i ran across a guy on ebay selling a R9 280x for $200,$10 cheaper than the 7950 and great performance.He has a 100% review 14 0f 14 for 5 star.His cards also have a warranty till 2016.I was wondering if you guys thoought it was safe.I dont wanna get a card and have it break in a week,excpessially on my first build.

Is the warranty even transferable?

Something I'd look into first.

 

Most of the time used cards are fine, but it's always a gamble. It's up to you if it's worth it to you or not.
