I've tried searching around but couldn't figure out a clear way to fix the issues I've been having with my 6700XT. Every week or so I will be playing a game and then my system will hard crash. I am forced to turn off then turn back on the power supply to get the computer back on. When this happens there is a 50% chance that when I try to launch a game again that windows is having issues with Direct X and to fix that I need to reinstall the AMD adrenaline software. I have tested the GPU with another power supply to see if that was part of the issue but that didn't change anything. Now I have been running a fan pointed right at the GPU. I feel like the only thing left for me to do is buy a new graphic's card and hope it is fixed. I don't have a second GPU to test if it is something with windows and AMD GPU's or if it is just my card. Do you all have any suggestions for things I can try?

In your description, there is nothing that would point in the direction of the driver as the cause of your issues.

How about you give more info on your system?

Please answer as many of those questions as possible:

MOBO: B450 M Pro MSI
SSD: Samsung 860 EVO
CPU: Ryzen 2600
GPU: 6700XT
Ram: 2x8 2666 DDR4
Running Windows 11

Uningine ran for 10 minutes then the computer crashed.
ran /scannow and it found a few corrupt files
I ran a ram memory test and it passed.

I have only replaced the power supply. Will try replacing ram later. I should be running the latest drivers and bios.

To replicate the isssue all i have to do is put some stress on the GPU for more than 10 minutes.
I also ran prime 95 for 15 minutes and the computer did not crash.
