New Build in the oven!

fAED

Dear users,

I'm about to build a new machine and as always, I want to know your oppinions about it.

- This one is just for gaming purposes at 1440p.

- Some peripherals are white as we are trying to aim a white themed build.

Here is the link of the current buildhttps://nl.pcpartpicker.com/list/BnnwRv

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D
CPU Cooler: Deepcool AK620
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING
Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16
Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB M.2 PCIe 3.0
Video Card: ASRock Phantom Gaming OC Radeon RX 6950 XT 16 GB
Case: Corsair 4000D Airflow
Power Supply: Cooler Master V850 V2 850w 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular
Total: €1634.50

Would you recomend newer generations of CPU's and/or graphics that could outperform this build and still within the budget of 1600'ish € ?

Thank you in advance for your valuable feedback.

jokes aside, sick build, im actualy doing the same thing, just ordered my 5800x3d and getting a 6950xt asrock aswell, judging by your gpu choice, i think you live in the netherlands right? we only have reference and asrock at 650 bucks and next third party is 790.

Dont forget to mark as solution if your question is answered

Note: My advice is amateur help/beginner troubleshooting, someone else can probably troubleshoot way better than me.

RAM speed doesn't matter that much for X3D CPUs, so 3600MHz CL16 is essentially waste of money.

I would recommend this:

Hi, for your budget I can't recommend anything better than the CPU you picked. I did however change a few things. I  put in a 240mm ARGB AIO, got you white RGB RAM, I switched the Case to one that has 5 ARGB Fans with 1 Fan on the bottom pulling air to the GPU to help cool it off and is cheaper than the Corsair 4000D, and I got a a higher rated and wattage Power Supply because 650w was not going to be enough for everything. When you build the system be sure to update the Firmware for the Samsung M.2 drive because they currently have an issue that makes them Read Only after a while. Also you will have to update the BIOS on the Motherboard for the newer X3D CPU. It's easy to do, just go to the ASUS website for the Motherboard and download the latest BIOS version to a USB stick an use the dedicated USB slot on the Board and turn on the PC and press the BIOS Flash Back button on the back of the Board and let it install, it does this automatically and when the PC restarts it should be done.

I have been building PCs for 30 years so if you have any questions please ask and if you pick my build please select it as the Solution, thanks.
