I got 13400f and asus b660m-k

The monitor and peripherals aren't turning on which made me suspect a bios update is needed

Do I have to go somewhere to find a compatible cpu and update the bios or can I do something without having to go outside?

I can't find the Asus usb bios flashback in the features of the mobo, no luck?

And how can I make sure that's actually the problem? The bios update?

check the label on the board. If it's lower than 1620 and never been updated it's the bios.
