I saw that Cisco sponsored todays video "This $65 Idea Raised $2M on Kickstarter..." so I thought there should be form do discuss the sponsor. I was surprised that Cisco sponsored LTT as it is primarily focused on the enterprise market and not usually focused on the consumer market but I like the idea if LTT doing more with Cisco. I hope that LTT is able to acquire Cisco products such as there headsets to test in the lab. I personally use the Cisco 980 as my daily headset and I use to use the Cisco 730 (I prefer over ear headphones) as I am wondering how they compare to other headsets. What do you all think and would you want to see more Cisco collaboration and testing with LTT?

There isn't a specific forum for cisco, but there is for sponsor discussion. I would just make a post there.

I tried to make this post there but it would not let me so I thought I would put it in general and hope a mod can move it.

LMG Sponsor Discussion is for official posts from LMG staff. Only LMG employees can create new posts in that forum, but everyone can reply to the topics they create. Discussing here in General Discussion is fine.

Can I request an official on be made? I think the one I made will probably be lost.

Are you asking about thoughts on Cisco overall? It's a very big company that does many things. I think they make a lot of good products and a lot of bad products. I think they make some good decisions and I think they make some bad decisions.

I don't think it's generally a bad idea to judge entire companies, especially those with such broad ranges of products. It's usually best to focus on individual products and judge those, without paying attention to whichever company or brand makes it.

If you have issues, questions or complains to make about existing sponsor, post it in

If you want to suggest new sponsor,

Rest of the threads are LMG asking opinions on lesser known companies. For something like Cisco who is well known industry giant, they might not need specific feedback, but if there's something wrong, you can give that info to complaints thread.

As for why Cisco, or any enterprise-heavy sponsor, might be there, while LMGs main viewerbase are gamers and hobbyists, there are also many who work for bigger companies as network admins or other IT support jobs. They might be interested if Cisco is something to consider when they suggest next upgrade for the system they are working with. Plus ofc hobbyists dabbling in that space where Cisco operates in.

Imo having US-specific sponsors is more odd choice overall. Like that one cell company that didn't even have Canadian branch...
