Hard drive failure?

I have a fairly new 2tb NVME drive, never had an issue. Out of nowhere all of my shortcuts are broken(picture), and the physical files are missing from 95% of the folders on the drive, however, the folders are still there(picture).

 

I can still install new games on this drive, and load them, but everything that was installed from xbox game pass is broken, as well as battle.net, etc.

 

Steam still works fine, as well as anything I reinstall.

 

I have tried CHKDSK (it did detect a corrupted recycle bin), sfc scan etc.

 

Any ideas at all?

Sounds more like filesystem corruption than drive failure.
