I need help knowing if these parts I picked out work together

slimreaper112

Hello,

I'm a novice and could use some help, I picked these parts because I'm trying to build a video editing pc that can also do some gaming.

I need to know if these parts are compatible and also will fit in my case, I just wanted a second opinion on this I didn't want to mess anything up.942325884_Screenshot(1).thumb.png.f98deb740b9d4ec034bd0daa7ad5af56.png1678228223_Screenshot(2).thumb.png.df810c7a7e240132c1814ab9a11311ba.png

They should work but I really wouldnt get a system like that. the CPU is getting old and with DDR4 and intel you wont have an upgrade path. Also you might want to upgrade that GPU. Ill send you a part list in like a minute

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

If you want a video editing PC you might want to get something a bit stronger gpu wise. Personally I just upgraded from a gtx 1070 to a Radeon rx 6700 xt and the gains are insane. While yes Nvidia does play better with adobe, I'm pretty sure the 6700 xt would still win against a 3060 and for everything else it's going to leave it in the dust. I got mine new for 400 after taxes on Amazon so it's even the same price and you get 12 gigs of vram compared to the 8 the 3060 comes with.

If you are in the US this is a much better system assuming it fits in the budget https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zDC8fv

Damn nice if OP is only editing their gaming montages, but if OP is more lopsided to the Video Editing part then id cost compress with a 13700 as itll match 7900 for less. Also, openCL fucking sucks for video editing.
