I am currently looking for some used ddr3 memory to buy, but the ones that I have found have different timings then the ones in my system. Would mixed timings effect performance? Would the cpu just run all of them at the worst timings, like mixed clock speeds would?

yup, run them all at worst common timings. It can effect performance, but its usually minimal it 99% of situations.

What specs?

Could you take a picture of your current ram? If its bare pcb make sure the text on the black ics is readable, if its not bare pcb just take a screenshot of thaiphoon burner

Usually you can request specific ram ics rather than being sent random garbage
