On mobile add "delete selected" or delete by index?

There are a number of mobile browsers with known problems when it comes to deleting things and back spacing. 

 

Perhaps if there's a way to read what is selected and delete that with a button that only appears on mobile.

 

Otherwise, perhaps having a menu popup that can list all the quotes, spoilers, YouTube embed, and code inserts, some pop-up menu can allow the deletion of those non-text elements can be made with buttons.
