My good old rig!

Mr. Noppo

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and I come from the Netherlands.

I thought it would be a nice idea to kick off with my humble gaming setup.

perhaps it is one of the older setups posted on this forum, but hey we have got to start somewhere right?

My humble setup:
Pentium 2 350Mhz 1998
128MB SDR 100Mhz 1998
Diamond Viper V550 16MB AGP 1997
Voodoo 2 12 MB PCI 1997
Creative Soundblaster AWE64 1996
Western Digital 40GB 2000
48X CD-ROM NEC 2001
19" Iiyama Vision Mastee 1451 LS902UT 1999
Trust Soundwave 20W speaker set. 1998
Need to go and retrobright my keyboard, it arrived today.

Using for MS-DOS and Win9x Gaming.

Yes I have a modern pc too (ryzen 7 7700)

But thats for another story.

Yeah, I'm looking for the sidewinder 3D at this moment to get a new experience with that game. Always played it purely on the keyboard.

I still have mine in the box, but no idea if it still works. I should build a retro rig sometime

Well, mine just arrived yesterday. Works great in msdos, but it is pretty buggy in windows. Calibration goes really good, but testing and in the game the torso keeps twisting to one side.

Mechwarrior and C&C, this was literally my childhood, glad to see you keeping the hardware alive.

I never actually played MW2, my dad bought a sidewinder pro for his ww2 flight sim games and it came with a copy of MW3, and ive been in love with the battletech universe ever since.
