Can anyone help!

Go to solution Solved by Volbet,

The PC can run in safe mode but haven't tried reinstalling windows!

If it can run in safe mode, it would seem like it's a software issue. Either try reinstalling some of the drivers, like the graphics card driver and the chipset driver.

If that doesn't help, I would suggest reinstalling Windows.

Edit: You can also check if Windows is broken. Run the CMD as administrator and write ´SFC /Scannow´ into it. This will scan Windows for any missing files,

My dad's computer is having a few problems lately it keeps freezing and crashing, BSOD and No signal input and weird lines!

The specs are:

AMD phenom 955pe

Asrock 880GMH/USB3

The ram is this :http://www.novatech.co.uk/products/components/memory-pc/ddr3pc3-106001333mhz/ram-13334.html

Ati HD5450 (using vga)

320gb samsung hdd

i have ran memtest no memory errors, ccleaner and updated all drivers but this is what happens all the time:

Can you upload the dum file (located in C:/Windows/minidump)? This will give us the BSoD error message, making it a bit easier to troubleshoot.

Does the PC boot into safe mode OK?

You might have to set it to make a dumpfile (I thought that was on as default)

Search for ´sysdm.cpl´ → Click the ´Advanced´ tab → Click ´Setting´ in the ´Startup and recovery´ setting → Check ´Write an event to system log´

I'm becomming more and more convinced that Microsoft hates me.

What temperature is the CPU running at? It might be a overheating problem.

Tress temps are 66 Degrees C!

So the CPU temperature isn't the problem.

I would agree that it then seem like a problem with the graphics card. Try the card in a different system or try a different card in your dad's system.

Edit: Didn't see you post. Can the PC run in safe mode? Have you tried reinstalling Windows?
