Node 304 or corsair 250d

Hi!

So I am hoping to get some input on these two cases. I am still in an MATX case and about to switch to either the node 304 or the corsair 250d.

I really don't know which one to buy, I would have to buy another PSU for the node, but it seems a lot smaller. I haven't managed to find a picture of both cases next to each other.....

The corsair 250d will fit my PSU, but I need to change from my noctua nh-u 12p to the nh-l 12, therefore possibly loosing cooling capacity for my CPU. BUT airflow in the 250d seems much better.....

So I would appreciate any constructive criticism on both cases . Both seem very appealing, but have their disadvantages as well

Unless you need more than two 3.5" HDDs the 250D is much better in your usage case.

i'd get the 250d, looks better imo

One more for 250D. If you want more space you can take a look at Bitfenix'es ITX cases.

If you're going for space saving the Node is smaller and can fit LARGE cpu air coolers:

note: you'd have to remove drives cages to do that though, but I'd personally strap them horizontally on top of the PSU for better airflow anyways.

Prodigy feels big because of its handles and feet, I have a Phenom and it's even too small for me ;)

What PSU are you using? Mine is definitely too long...

I know for a fact that the PSU needs to be under 160mm. It's not my build and it's 3am here so I'll look up the source and let you know if the PSU is listed.

So I guess I made my decision!

 

The NH-L 12 is awesome. It keeps my CPU nice and cool.  So yeah, no real need for a big CPU cooler. Therefore: 250D! Thanks for your help!
