Selling my old Surface pro and thinking of getting a Razer laptop!

I'm selling my old Surface Pro 7, and thinking of getting a Razer 14" laptop as a replacement specifically for High School and eventually use it for CAD in college! (I don't need a desktop because I already have a really good one at home)

This is the one I'm thinking of buying!

https://www.razer.com/gaming-laptops/Razer-Blade-14/RZ09-0427EE23-R3U1

It's $1,800 from Razer directly, and $1,900 from Best Buy.

I've used Asus Rog Strix laptops before and I wasn't a big fan, and I won't go Apple, becuase I've also used them and am also not a big fan!

I wanna know your guy's opinion cause I'm still on the fence!

how fast do you need this? maybe wait for framework 16?

I think being able to remove the GPU and get 200% battery life then put it back in when i need it and/or have an outlet is going to be a game changer.

do you really want it to be 14"?

1.8k USD for a 3060 (100W) & 16GB of RAM?

How about:

(I'd probably pay extra 60$ for 2TB drive or even 150$ extra for 2TB and 64GB of RAM)

Sure it is bigger and heavier... but it is also a lot more bang for the buck.

Also, 14" FHD for CAD work... eh not the best choice.
Though if you want something light and small, you do you 😀.

I would like to have it pretty soon, I'm finishing up high during this year so I need it either this month or next month! Although I would love to have the versatility of a framework, I just can't wait that long! Maybe once it comes out I could trade in the Razer for a framework in about a year or two!

I would love to have it bigger! But I need it to be smaller because of the backpack I'm using right now along with a l l of the books I'm carrying right now! (I will be getting a bigger backpack eventually)
