If you do have purchased whats stated as purchased here, then this would be my cost compression to add in a 7900XT instead of 6900XT.

But yeah 7900 XTX wouldve been what i choose if its not 1k pounds right now. Also cross shop the 7900XT with 4080.

I think it would be smarter to stick to intel and ddr4 until ddr5 has progressed and then in a year or 2 to switch to amd. Since Im just trying to upgrade from my very outdated system.

I want 32gb of ram and wouldnt 1000w be better for future upgrades

Personally I would liquid cool that particular i5. It has a max turbo of about 180W.
