How to get playstation buttons of pc and not xbox?

PatRed

Every PC game i play has xbox buttons and not ps, when i use my ps4 controller. Its really annoying bc sometimes i dont press the right button, and i was wondering if there is any way i could get ps buttons and not xbox?

Very rare a game has the settings for that.

Windows is made by microsoft and so is the xbox hence why every game on windows with controller support uses the xbox buttons.

So sadly nothing really can be done except putting stickers on your buttons

The only way i know how to fix it is with a wire and change a setting on steam but i dont like wires, so it is what it is.

Yeh, there isn't many games that this has been implemented with.

The only one I can think of is the new RE4 Demo (maybe the full game as well). Cracked that on a couple of nights ago and noticed the on screen prompts were all PS and not XBox.

Short answer no. Steam can run the ps5 controller and some games detect that and show the right buttons. Other than that you just have to get used to the xbox buttons being shown
