Blue Yeti? Read good things about it, don't use external mics myself so I cant verify.

yea its alright, but its quite good at picking up background noise, deffo best for budget mics tho, i both own a shure mv7 (my podcast and streaming mic) and a blue yeti for ASMR

Looking to hopefully get some extra clarity on my decision, below are what I'm considering, budget is under $300AUD (200usd)

Rode NT-USB+

Would hands down get this one only the lack of a mute button is putting me off, sometimes I need to quickly hit it and I ideally don't want to rely on software (rarely but sometimes have issues with my corsair virtuoso mic button not muting)

Purchasing voicemod to mute map a mute button via icue software worse case

Elgato Wave 3

Appears to be a decent mic, all physical controls where there needed as well as a mute botton.

Review paint it in an average light, possible background noise pickup if not positioned right

Hyperx Quadcast S RGB USB

Seems to have good reviews, with all the buttons I need

Adjustable polar patterns, is this handy to have?

Looking at this over the standard due to USB C connection also, RGB is a bonus, hopefully I can have some form of control without the software or as I better sticking to the red?

TIA

shure MV7

been using for quite some time

sounds almost as good as its older brother, the SM7B, no issues with it

tried both usb and xlr for over 2 months
