My pc keeps crashing it can get up to 40x a day it usually say system service exeption watchdog violation irql not less or equal the only way I had stopped it was by leaving a game running in the background where it would reduce the crashes by 90. Percent however I reset my pc and it’s doing the same thing and I’m sick I’ve spent hundreds of pounds to a pc repair shop and they said it was the psu hhd and that I didn’t have a windows 10 key which I all had to buy of him which came to around 300 pounds and it’s still happening  it’s a nightmare for me as it’s very hard to do my school work as it’s the constant crashes and if I go on YouTube I always get a error code status Acces violation. I’ve watched hours of videos to try and fix it and still nothing I NEED HELP. My specs are 16gb of ram Corsair and ryzen 5 3500 and 1660 super please help me it’s also sometimes does not give me the BSOD it goes straight o black no text and reboots

It’s hard to say what specifically it is since I don’t really know your computer, but if you’ve had it for a while or gotten used parts it could be a thermal issue where you just need to reapply thermal paste to either your cup or open up your you shroud and apply some thermal paste there. Besides that, maybe it could be a drive issue, but again, really just shooting at whatever I can find.

Those BSOD codes tend to mean there is an issue with the chipset and display drivers. Given that fixing drivers is alot of work and not even garenteed to work out, I'd suggest reinstalling windows 10 if you havn't tried that already.

1) Before doing that backup all the files on your OS drive that might be important too you.

2) Then turn a USB stick into a window installation media.

3) Turn your computer off and boot from the USB stick.

Common build advice:

1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticeably improve performance past 240mm and don't improve at all past 360mm. 9) RTFM.
