Looking online, you may be able to just clean install windows 11 and use your windows 7 key when it asks you for your product key.

I don't really want to have to spend money on a Windows 11 license, but I have an old Windows 7 CD. Could I just upgrade from 7 to 11, or would I need to go from 7 to 10 then 11? Also, would the upgrade be free?
