I currently have a Dell MFP 3115cn Laser printer, I've had it for a while and its dying.(it's been along time) I've Been looking for a good network laser printer again, it doesn't need to be wifi. I want duplex printing and scanning, color. would like to be able to print on index cards, so heavy paper and small sizes and would like to avoid toner cartages with chips or anything to lock you into buying their toner. I've been looking at printers like the Brother MFC‐L8905CDW, the Lexmark 42C7780 CX625ade. I would like  have higher resolution then the brother but not sure what I should be expecting these days, does anyone have any suggestions or things I should be looking for?

recently brought a Brother HL-L2375DW, and its been solid, and its fairly small too not a huge beast, not had a printer for years after being fed up of crappy ink jet printers, I dont use a printer often, but when I want to use it, i want it to work, it cost me £129.54, bargain price imo. always though I needed a colour printer, but who actually prints anything that needs colour??

hope you decided on something.

I decided on the Lexmark 42C7780 CX625ade, we bought it renewed and are going to put it though it's paces once it arrives before the 90 days are up. My wife in her PHD program and needs the color for some of her reports and stuff. if it last as long as the dell the price tag will be worth it. had it for about 20 years
