M2_2 slot not recognizing my new m.2 SSD

Just bought a 2tb m.2 SSD today I know for sure the drive works (I put it in the m2_1 slot to confirm) however it is not showing up in the m2_2 slot in my bios I've tried everything I can find online most of them say to turn on one thing or another but I don't have those settings I've heard the the second slot may be turned off but idk any help would be appreciated

Would need to know what motherboard and drive you have to comment on that.

What board and waht drive?

 

Does your second slot support NVME?  Or is it SATA Only?
