Petitions and protests usually don't get results. In the real world, money talks a hell of a lot louder than a group of people complaining. So long as pockets are being lined, we're going to be ignored.

Many local governments lack this thing called a "backbone" to care about the happiness of their citizens. If the flippin' Supreme Court can be bought out to allow anyone with deep pockets to now contribute to their hearts content to a candidate to make sure their pick gets elected, what makes you think something many people don't understand like the Internet will get any traction?

It's sad, but true. When America's highest court in the land is already bought out, this doesn't really give much hope.

I think Switzerland isn't THAT bad.

But there still is a lot of stupidity going around.

Money is the only thing that runs this country, Every one is bought out. but maybe just maybe it would work if we only get enough signatures. Think people.
