Hogwarts Legacy on i7 3770 + GTX 1070?

doomsriker

Going to be setting up Hogwarts Legacy on the PC I built for my Fiancé  out of old parts. Ended up with an i7 3770, GTX 1070, 16GB DDR3 1600MHZ, and was able to fit the game on the boot SSD. What kinds of settings should I look to turn down or up to get the game looking the best it can at 1080P while getting around 60 FPS?

GPU is under reccomendated GPU but should be fine, its above minimum. The problem I find is the CPU, minimum is an i5 6600k and i7 3770 is not better than that.https://www.hogwartslegacy.com/en-au/pc-specs

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

Everything on minimum settings i think you wont get higher than 30 fps.. but thats my guess

I sometimes wonder how we went to space on only 4KB RAM, and we cannot fix a simple issue.

No, you're right, and of course it'll not run as good as with 5800x, not even close, but'll run.

Doing fine here, constant 60+ fps at least on lows with occasional dips to 50-60 during graphically heavy scenes like outside with tons of grass. 100% playable. i5 8400 GTX 970

Motion blur should be off.

As for the rest... Presets often help give you a good gauge.

It's hard to say without actually testing it. Modern games can push a CPU quite a lot, but it really depends on the game and specific level. For instance, Hitman levels with a lot of NPCs can get an older CPU in trouble. The 3770 was a beast in its day, but it's getting long in the tooth.

I hope OP reports back. I'd be interested to find out!
