I have 2 x 8 ram in pc m pc can i tried tyo add two more 2 x 8 ram sticks, and it wont post? do i needd to change the bios setytings?

To be compatible the new sticks should ideally have the same speed, latency etc of the old RAM. Depending on the CPU, it may also not be able to clock the RAM as high if there are 4 sticks, so you could try if it boots with XMP disabled or set to a lower speed.

when trying to0 put the sticks it i brpoke the piece thaT KEEPS THE 1ST SLOT OF THE RAM STICVK IN PLACE? IS THERE A WAY TO HOLD IT In PLACE WITHOUT THAT?CAN I TAPE IT? IF NOT WILL HAVING ONLY 3 STICKS BE BENEIFLCAL?

You cant tape it, might as well stick with 2 sticks of ram.
