Have at it then, you'll need an angle grinder or better yet, electric metal shears.

Though I would still remove all your components to be safe even with electric metal shears.

So I am basically planning to cut a hole in the middle of my h510 case to promote better airflow. I got the dust filter too, so I am basically ready to do it. My only concern is that I don't know how I would do this mod without possibly damaging my other components, as it would be pretty annoying to take out the motherboard and everything. Does anyone have an idea to cut the hole without using heavy power tools or have those sparks fly across my room?

Why do you need to do such a drastic mod to increase airflow?  Can't you add more fans?

the h510 case is litterally just a flat screen at the front, and promotes horrible airflow and I already have 4 fans which is the max that it holds

How new is the case? They now make a H5 Flow edition that has a Mesh Front Panel. See if you can return the old one.

I would just get the H510 Flow. You likely bought this case for the aesthetics. Without using the proper tools (and even if you do have them, using said tools wrong), it's going to look like a disaster.

Unfortunately unlike the Flow and the Elite, the front panel is not removable.

NONONONONONONONO. Take out your motherboard and do it properly. Take out every component in your pc, and I do mean all of them. If you don't have power tools, pliers and a hacksaw might be able to do the job, and maybe some sandpaper to clean up the sharp edges. Do it outdoors or in your garage, don't want any plastic and metal shavings dirtying up your room. Keep in mind, as others have said, it will look ugly, no matter what.

Please mark as solved if I answered your question.
