Re-Buy Steam Game?

So basically ubisoft f***ed me by forcing me to use Uplay and i can't play Splinter Cell: Conviction anymore because its activated on another account for Uplay but I still own it on steam. i want to play it again but there is no way in hell i'm going to get my old Uplay account back and I have tried contacting ubisoft and they were no help. So i want to buy the game a second time so i can activate it on my new uplay account.

It should be illegal to put you in the situation you're in if you've already paid for the game once.

This is a fine example of why Valve should not allow games that require a secondary activation to be sold on Steam.

Exactly so why would you give give a shit about using alternative means to play your game?

I'm not saying it's legal I'm saying I'd do it anyway.

I don't normally buy games that use uplay because it waits until you launch a game to update it which I find very annoying.
