Yes overclocking on a laptop will give you better performance. I would reccomend overclocking both the gpu and the CPU. Just only do a light overclock as we all know the cooling solutions in laptops arent as good as pc so don't go heavy

If you have any sort of voltage control, you will benefit from undervolting more than overclocking. Thermal and power headroom will be your limiting factor 90% of the time in laptops.
