G604 Wireless buggy rmb?

Go to solution Solved by Levent,

It aint a "bug". You wore down the mechanical switch inside your mouse. It can be fixed if you know how to solder and have a replacement switch but other than that there is no fix for it.

I used this mouse for years and a few days ago the rmb started to become buggy. It looks like sometimes the mouse does a "double click" or straight up starts the "zoom" animation in a shooter just to immediately cancel it again (tested in a few games). It doesnt always happen but it certainly is annoying. Is there a way to fix this or is the mouse gone for good?

Interesting that rmb wore down before lmb. Sadly I dont have a switch or am the best at soldering. Thanks anyway

Eh, Ask nearest repair shops if they can desolder and solder for you for a small fee. (or a friend that can desolder & solder well enough)

If they are willing to do it, replace both switch.

(So that you won't have to disassemble and pay again for the LMB in the near future.)

Then buy new switches, something like Kailh GM8.0 or GM4.0, TTC Gold, Huano, whichever fits you.

You can also use another cheap Omrons, but yeah... from my own experience they usually don't last long enough.

You probably gonna have to disassemble & reassemble the mouse yourself though.

It's around 2-3 minutes of work at most for someone with decent experience in desoldering & soldering.

There is approximately 99% chance I edited my post
