Yes but it is aesthetically displeasing IMO. I *possibly* have OCD and I would rage and shoot somebody if I saw dual cards with only one being WCed.

I'm not exactly planning on doing this full time, since it does look pretty ugly. Just seeing if I can do it for a few weeks as I save up the ~$150 bucks needed for a block+backplate

Just do it all at once. You don't want to be draining and rebuilding your loop for no reason.

I don't have the 2nd card yet, and I already have my loop with one card. Like you said, I don't want to be redoing my whole loop just to install one graphics card, so if i can run it with the stock cooler until I drain it for maintenance, it'd help a lot
