Low fps on my rig

Hi everyone,

im new here, if my topic isn’t in right category please accept my apologies. 
In recent games, such as spiderman remastered and a plague tale requiem max settings, I have fps drops while my gpu and cpu usage are low, don’t know how to fix it, any help is appropriated.

my rig spec:

cpu: ryzen 7 5800x

gpu: aorus 3080 ti master

mb: msi x570 gaming plus

psu: corsair 1000 gold

ram: 16 gig 3200

res: 1080p

well what it seems to be on the graph is that your cpu bottlenecked

on whatever game you are playing

Stop playing at max settings, pretty much look up what settings are actually useful or not. PC ports of a console game can be quite brutal. 

 

Generally you have to adjust settings, 1080p is fairly simple to run, so either some setting is causing MASSIVE Fps drops, not unheard of on console ports, and ive heard of a few issues with plague tail.

 

Make sure all drivers are up to date, and make sure you have the Ryzen AMD Chipset drivers/

Its a plague tale requiem im playing, even though im not at 100%? I heard ryzen 7 5800x is one of mid to high end cpus, and its also overclocked, to 4.5 gigahertz 

i have checked it on youtube they had smooth experiences

Even if i lower the settings no difference my fps drops

i have checked it on youtube they had smooth experiences

so your at 1080p maxed, with a 3080ti and a 5800x 16gb ram, did you check to see if ram was running rated speeds? try disabling all overclocks and  see what fixes it

How should i check ram speed? Will try disabling all overclocked settings

in bios, or task manager, ctrl shift esc

Again im playing a plague tale requiem

and my gpu usage is 35-40% and cpu 50-55% and my fps is 50!

This may seem basic but have you double checked your power connectors are connected properly? (turn off your PC first before doing so)
