is this worth it?

so i found an rtx 2060 super 8gb and an i9-9900k for around 430 total, is it a good deal, or should i skip the cpu and just get the gpu for 180(because i have a 9400f), both are coming from aliexpress but i read reviews and the ratings are nice, ill try to get the links when i get off of work but is it a good deal lmk?

I wouldn't buy anything from AliExpress, but that aside... based on used pricing, that's not a bad deal. Based on comparative items in the market, it's a bad deal.

 

Get a 5600, motherboard, reuse RAM and look for a 6600XT.

Pretty meh

 

Used 6600 go for the same price and perform on par with gtx 1080 iirc so better than a 2060, just look at fb marketplace or any other classifieds site you have in your area

 

 

But im more curious as to how you got your 9400f to 4.5ghz with bclk, didnt intel cripple bclk to 103 max after the skylake bclk oc shenanigans?

Cpu-z will give a more accurate reading
