Normally I wouldn't say NEED an SSD at this price point but paying that much for a membrane keyboard is not a great decision. I know it's a great keyboard and the lights are cool but it's 10% of your build. Way too much :( And you could get a mechanical keyboard for the price!

I'd get a $10-$20 keyboard and a 120GB SSD (around $70) or GPU upgrade.

ps: please, PLEASE don't buy Razer audio products.

No one needs an SSD, it's a luxury product.

But it makes the computer WAY faster. With low specs like those, he needs an SSD to actually have a good experience on it.

Because there are better alternatives (plus general razer plasticy build quality swagalagga)

also that PSU is WAAY overkill (original post build)

Never had an SSD and always enjoyed the experience with the HDD

No one NEEDS and SSD.  This is true.  But an SSD is arguably the best performance upgrade you can make to a system for a relatively good value... and it's performance you actually see.  If you've never used as SSD on a daily basis, you can't say you wouldn't be more happy with one until you've experienced it.  You would be one of the few to not "enjoy" an SSD more than an HDD.

Perhaps because you have never tried an SSD. I personally also do not have an SSD but i am feeling the slowness of my PC and i will upgrade very soon, as a 480GB SSD is just 188 Euros, which is a steal IMO.

You can find 120GB SSDs for about 60 Euros now, so not having one is not really an "excuse" now, since they are so cheap.

I recommend you get a r9 280 instead for nearly the same price ($30 more).

to put it nicely, cause they're bad and expensive. Nothing wrong with spending a lot on audio, but not getting your money's worth is annoying. I've been there and it sucks :)

Debatable.  It's better performing hardware that saves you time.  And time is money.

Well I've never had a SSD, I have always stuck with my HDD... It's not really a bad experience, you just have to be patient enough. But I will be getting a SSD this summer.

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.
