Ive got an intel e97378 cooler i want to remove. And one of the “pull tabs” will not budge. It will rotate, but no matter the rotation, it will not move up nor down.

any ideeas??

Use a flat head screw driver, it should have a slit for it. If you want to reuse it, you can buy the so called "Push Pins" on the internet. Some aftermarket coolers use the same type, that is why you sometimes want to replace them. If the screw driver won't work, rotate the motherboard, locate the stuck pin, get some plyers an squeeze it through. Be careful not to loose grip and slide off, you can easily scratch the motherboard and or hurt components on the back. If you don't need the cooler anymore, you can break the stuck pin apart, it's just plastic.
