Those temps are fine.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Just to add, my XFX 6600 is pretty "low" power compared to other GPUs talked about currently.

 

On default settings right after building my PC, it ran hot and loud under load. 79c   -> default fan curve basically capped it at this.

 

- started reading up on fan curves and trial/error(anybody's system can behave different even if same parts).

It generally runs quieter for me now, and I have it capped at 74c. But due to optimizations in the middle curves, it stays around 65-70c even at 100% usage)
