Merch Message Question

I've bought two gift cards now while WLAN was live but I never saw my message just the acknowledgement that I bought a gift card.

I made sure the second time to select I want my message shown box but I never saw my message.

Do I have to use my credit card to buy things? because both times now I've used Paypal to pay directly from my checking account.

I can't say for certain, but it seems to me like they pick the messages at random. I really don't know though.

Seems like all the merch messages appear during the show that are done during the show. I'm not a LMG Employee so I can only guess.
