Hi,

Ive torn this pc to pieces, reseated everything. Uninstalled and reinstalled everything!

No warning, no blue screen. Could be playing a game, watching YouTube or just sitting idle and the whole system just turns off and reboots itself.

I'm at a complete loss and have no idea what to do. Any geniuses out there that can help me?

Windows 11

Rog maximus 11 code, intel i9 9900k, 8x2 gskill trident z RGB, geforce 2080ti, 650w power supply, liquid cooled with loads of extra fans in the case. Cooler master case.

if there is no warning or blue screen, what tells you that it is error 41? where are you seeing this error?

No warning at all and it's really random. Sometimes the pc runs for hours no problems. Then other times you open a game or internet browser and it's insta blacks out. I'm just getting all my specs together to add to my post as it's not very helpful as is.

I looked through the error logs, and I had fatal error 41 and 41 (63) swapped in a new power supply but that didn't fix the issue.

that error just means windows shut down unexpectedly (which is obvious since the whole pc shuts off)

when you say that didnt fix the issue, you mean it still shuts down?

what are you doing when it does shut off?

That's a good start! I would try verifying the following before we troubleshoot further:

  1. Have the latest BIOS/UEFI Firmware [Check me and make sure I got the right motherboard 😜]
  2. Verify you have the latest drivers from Asus website, or use Armory Crate to update everything to the latest drivers.
  3. Reset your BIOS/UEFI Firmware by clearing the CMOS
  4. See if the issues persist.
  5. If the computer continues to have the same problems, boot into Safe Mode and use the computer like usual and see if the same issue happens.

Something that would be helpful for us to know is:  How long have you had the computer/has it always done this, or is this a new issue?

There is approximately a 117% chance I edited my post.

Please refresh before you reply.
