My main concern is my cpu temps, whilst playing minecraft at 30% CPU usage, my CPU seems to find itself at 70-80 degrees, this is not what i expected with an AIO

With ambient  22C+ it's rather normal, even with a 280mm AIO a 5800X can easily reach 80C (my 5900X too)

AMD Chips are idle 40C and Zen3 goes straight to 75C, Zen4 to 95C, it's not like the Intel chips that heat up quite "linearly" from 30C to 100C

Tiny AIO for that CPU, the 5800x is infamous for being one of the hottest thermally CPU's on the market. During its intial release it was recommended that a person use a 360 or larger cause the heat output.

If you want to keep using that NZXT Kraken z63 you need to like soon do a deep dive if your system supports it into the PBO2. Or its gonna keep roasting.

And btw the 5000 and up series AMD CPU's are rated to be safe up to like 90 C's

I run a 5800x as well but I planned for the heat I got it with a 360 AIO EVGA and ample space. ( Edit: My thermal load
is between usually under use 30.1C's if casual use. 41.2C's to 48.6 C's is what my build caps out at.) I contribute my ability to keep the thermals lower to PBO2 the AI driven software in the bios combined with a giant blob of thermal paste and plenty of air flow.

I love PC building and gaming.
REMEMBER botttlenecks can happen at all points of a PC part. Make sure you are at equilibrium. For all parts unless you intend to upgrade at a later point. Also QA Tested AAA Games.

Seems a little warm to me with an AIO, I'm only using a 212 evo on my X3D  in game I usually keep 75c ish, benchmarking 89c, Have you tried reseating the water block? cleaning out any dust for better airflow, maybe setting a more aggressive curve to the pump and fans?

Are these temps right off the bat or is this reading like after playing for a while until the rad gets warmed up?

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

Why not? AIOs are not very good in general. Better than a low end air cooler for sure, but not better than a high end one.
