I am looking to get the best graphics card for gaming at around 30 dollars

Depends on what you have right now in terms of platform. If youre on an old system, yeah that K4000 and 650Ti that @8tgshouts is a good idea. But yeah, low price doesnt equal good value. If youre on newer end system id definitely sell the CPU and get myself a higher end igpu equipped model so later on you can get more performance out of the system. but if your cashflow is indeed tight even in long term, id definitely go for GPU route instead, but at few couch cushion extra, you can get better deal out of it. Other than 770, i also recommend GTX 1060 6GB.

Welcome to the forums.

What are you actual aims for the games/applications you want to run with such a card?

For any kind of semi-modern tasks, the absolute bare minimum option is probably going to be a GTX 750/750 ti, which can be found for about $50.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Just get a polaris gpu, those things go dirt cheap and they perform pretty well for the 30-50$ you can get cheap rx 460/470 or rx 560/570, usually its the 70 and 80 cards that got best value since theyre miner cards though do keep in mind of you go for a mining edition youll only get 1 dvi port, though regular ones are problably also mined on, though a miner takes better care of their gpus than gamers that suffocate them in a garbage hotbox case or other abuse such as smoking or excessive dust

Thank you guys so much! I managed to find a R9 270 here and a GTX 770 here. I am leaning towards the 770, but it has a power cable requirement of 6 pin + 8 pin and I only have one molex and one sata power open. I am not sure if I could find an adapter.

you can buy RX580 8GB with 30 or so $ on Chinese market “XianYu"

You fail to take account of how exorbitant the cost of customs and shipments are against china right now. Do you have any solution for cheap shipping out there nowadays?

This is where it wouldve been useful to know your prior system. I honestly am always scruffed against molex and sata adapters as ive seen too many dead PSUs and GPUs with it being the direct or indirect culprit.

So you would say to just stick with the ones that only require 6 pin power connectors because that is the only one in my system?

Yes, but thats just me personally. All in your risk tolerance to decide, as the 770 would be a higher end shot.
