7900XTX Junction temps passing 90c

Yeah it's normal. If it gets over 100c and throttling, that's when you start worrying. 

Hey everyone

 

So I've just finished building a PC for a friend. It runs greats, performance is what you would expect from a top tier rig.

 

One problem I've noticed though is GPU Junction temp always stays in high 80s, sometimes even passing 90c when gaming. Do you know if this is normal? GPU temp itself is at lovely 60-64c when going full tilt 4k Hogwarts Legacy.

 

Case is H5 Flow with x2 140mm intake silent wing 3s + 120mm toilet bowl. x3 120mm exhausts (Also silent wings). 

CPU is also staying nice and cool with 240mm AIO

R9 7950x

64GB DDR5

7900xtx

Corsair RM1000e PSU

NZXT H5 Flow

Main system: Ryzen 7 7800X3D / Asus ROG Strix B650E / G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO 32GB 6000Mhz / Powercolor RX 7900 XTX Red Devil/ EVGA 750W GQ / NZXT H5 Flow

I think so, my RX 6600 XT hits over 100°C at times. Have you googled it?

 

Edit: Yup, seems to be normal. I am planning on water cooling the card and hopefully lower temps that way, but it should be fine as is.
